Inspectors have to process reports, complaints, notices and other applications regarding matters within their competences and at the request of applicants notify them of the measures taken.
 
Regardless of the provisions of the General Administrative Procedure Act, inspectors also have to process anonymous reports, except in cases when the circumstances give rise to suspicion that the report is bogus or false. In the inspector’s procedure, the position of the party to the procedure is held by the person under obligation. The person submitting an initiative, report, notice or other application does not occupy the position of the party.
